Coaching is Currently Paused.

Thank you for your interest! I've recently accepted a full-time role in augmented reality and am currently focused on that work, along with my own creative projects.

While I'm not booking coaching sessions at this time, I may reopen limited availability in the future.

In the meantime, learn more about my approach to VR design, storytelling, and mentoring below.

Are you stuck!?

I hear things like this all the time:

“I don't really have a story - it's not that kind of game.”

"Something feels off, but I can't figure out what."

Everything in your VR experience communicates something: the world you built, the way players move, the tone, the mechanics. I help VR creators make those pieces work together to create something cohesive, meaningful, and memorable.

Whether you're designing your first project, stuck on a specific challenge, or figuring out your path in VR, bring what you've got and we'll work through it together.

30 minutes • $75

A focused feedback session for VR creators who want to tell better stories in their projects. Perfect for getting unstuck on a specific challenge or quick direct feedback. Whether you're building your first VR experience, switching careers into XR, or want a fresh perspective on your narrative design, I'll help you think through how players experience your story through mechanics, pacing, and spatial design.

Perfect for:

  • Reviewing a Unity scene or small prototype for narrative flow

  • Getting feedback on your portfolio or demo

  • Quick guidance on story mechanics, onboarding, or player agency

  • Design direction on a specific challenge

  • Gut-checking your concept

60 minutes • $150

An in-depth session for VR creators ready to level up their storytelling. We'll work through the narrative design decisions that make VR experiences compelling - how players move through your story, what they control, and how mechanics support (or undermine) your vision.

Great for:

  • Designing story-driven VR games or experiences from concept

  • Detailed critique of your level design, pacing, or player journey

  • Guidance on Unity implementation approaches (interaction design, scene flow, using audio for narrative impact)

  • Portfolio reviews and career strategy for emerging designers (what to build next, how to position your work, skill development)

How can I help?

I'm a VR designer and developer who's taught VR design at XR Terra, worked as lead designer and coach for Justin P. Barnett's VR Creator Accelerator Program, and currently develop my own story-driven VR games (Shadow Mend - official selection at FIVARS 2024).

Here's what people say sets me apart: I finish things. Music albums, a children's program released on DVD, VR games - I ship projects.

AI can give you answers, but sometimes you need another human to ask the right questions about your narrative choices, how mechanics serve your story, whether your pacing works. And the secret to actually shipping? Knowing what to cut is as important as knowing what to build. I help clients think through their design, scope realistically, and manage the creative chaos.

You're a student or emerging VR designer building your skills and portfolio.

You're switching careers and exploring XR.

You're a solo developer working on a narrative project.

You want a fresh perspective on your VR storytelling.

You think my background could help with something else - that's cool too!
